It is time again to to enjoy summer in the Capital Region. 

SPAC, the track, parks, games, family, boating, fishing, biking, hiking and so much more to do here in Upstate NY. Each day can be an adventure even if it is a small one with everything around us. Just google water falls near by and see the wonders of nature you can hop to or find a fair taking place. So much to do...

So if you are not able to come in to sit and relax as much as you may have because you are out and about we understand. Though remember everything we have is ready to travel, just ask for your wrap to go and bring it with you on your next adventure.

If you do need to escape the heat our AC will be on, the walls will have outlets to plug in and the Wifi is free for all customers. We are here for your stay or your go.

     Winter is not over but some warmer days are sneaking. Our outdoor seating is ready for you to take a break and enjoy a cozy winter afternoon outdoors with a warm beverage and Java baked treat. We may see more snow but right now the weather is teasing us so let's enjoy some of it.

It seems crazy to think just a year ago the Sanctuary was under such heavy restrictions to provide a safe space during the pandemic. Masks, distancing, shut downs and online everything... Through it all we made it because we had the support of our community and people who kept us going with their positive vibes and kind words of encouragement. Thank you to everyone!

Now the masks are off, people are feeling safer and we are starting to see the return of faces we have missed. 

It's not a bad time for a good return because the Summer is here to enjoy and we are here to help you enjoy it. We have delicious sandwiches, refreshing salads and some amazing cool beverages that will support any smiles this summer you may be looking for.

Spring is finally here. That means our patio is open and ready to enjoy! That means ordering some colder drinks on those hotter days. That means we can get outside and enjoy people, places and treats again with a little worry in our hearts.

Each year ends with a time of reflection of what we did and a time of innocent hope to restart anew with a new year right before us. Our reflection of the year 2020 has many mixed emotions. We were sad to leave our first site on Wolf Road, a place we built from the ground up and loved dearly. It is where we met our friends, our family and and so many of you shared your lives with us. We were excited to enter our new space and continue to grow our memories. We felt loved and warmth as so many followed us to our new location and so many more welcomed us to the Shopper's Plaza. Then things went off as COVID ripped through our community and we worried for all of you and ourselves. While we were worried about what would happen we stood strong together and supported one another. It hasn't been easy and may not be over but we are making it through this united. The new year has found us and offers us all hope. 

We thank everyone who supported us in 2020. Your love and commitment to the Coffee Sanctuary has kept us motivated and moving forward. You mean the world to us and you remind us why we are here: to serve you and provide you a safe place to be yourself. 

May the year a head of us shine bright so that it leaves the last one in the shadows of our memories.

Ok, so the new Summer is approaching us. With the heat comes a desire to be refreshed with a nice cool beverage. As you are on a coffee website we will keep to that theme. So what is an easy way to cool down your brew with little mess and no fuss? 

Step one: Get a pitcher that you can place in your fridge. No ice. Not yet.
Step two: Brew a pot of regular coffee.
Step three: let it sit until its cooled down.
Step four: pour it in the pitcher and place it in the fridge.
Step five: Let it chill out.

Why do it this way? It's easy. Wake up, brew a full pot. Take your cup out for the morning. Let it set and before you leave pour it into the pitcher. Then when you get home it's ready for you. Next morning repeat it. 

Don't ice it before you pour it in the pitcher because it will water it down. You can add ice to your cup when you pour it out if you need the extra chill.

Are there other ways? Yup. But give this a try. It makes a solid cup of cold coffee to enjoy in the summer time.
